Outlook 2007 Grinding You Down?

When I tried to run the Outlook Performance Update it said that it did not find the expected version of Office. Not sure what that's about, but I did find that renaming the extend.dat sped it up considerably.

Wouldn't it be great if a software company released a piece of software that actually used less memory, less processor and worked faster?!
